Muslim women are dynamic – we want to be a part of that journey
Ilham Collective is an organization by Muslim women, for Muslim women, aimed to nurture, grow, inspire, and showcase creative talents in the arts. Very often women deprioritize a passion, interest or talent they may have because of their careers and family life. That can change today, join the movement.

Our Founder
Ayat Shukairy is an entrepreneur and founded two marketing companies, Invesp a marketing agency, and FigPii, a marketing SaaS tool. Her passion, however is in the arts between writing, singing, and performing.Â
In 2023 she came to the realization that, like herself, many Muslim women did not hone in on their gifts, talents, or aspirations because of their careers and family life. She also had received many asks from the community to help and grow people’s Deff Drumming and Siging skills.Â
In the fall of 2023 she conducted a Deff workshop at the Well Circle Conference. The amount of positive feedback and demand made her realize the importance of helping women on this journey.Â
With that, Ilham was born.Â
The word Ilham means inspiration but also depending on it’s use in Arabic can have other multitude of meanings. Arabic is a deeper language and definitely is conducive to greater creativity and inspiration.Â
