Olga Bojavic

A dedicated and passionate voice teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience, I am committed to nurturing vocally healthy and confident singers. My teaching pedagogy emphasizes individualized instruction and focuses on proper posture, breathing support development and stamina, stabilized larynx/open throat singing concept, even tessitura of the whole vocal range.

Olga also actively performs. She leads by example and truly practices what she teaches her students. Since 2016 she has been a Soprano Section Leader at Christ Church of Oak Brook. There, she has sung solos in major choral-orchestral works, including Handel’s Messiah, Nelson’s Passion, and DuBoise’ The Seven Last Words of Christ. She has performed with many local companies and orchestras over the years. To name a few: leading roles with Savoyaires, Hyde Park’s Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company, and solo engagements with Salt Creek Chamber Orchestra IL, Paderewski Symphony Orchestra, North Shore Chamber Orchestra, Oistrakh Symphony Orchestra of Chicago. I am thrilled to debut with West Suburban Symphony as Michaela in Bizet’s concert version of Carmen in June 2024.
