Yalla! Let’s Dabke

Rayanne Gaghamin and Tasneem Othman are the founders of Thawra Dabke Troupe, established in 2024 (@thawra.dabke). With over a decade of experience in dabke, the vibrant and rhythmic Palestinian folk dance, they are dedicated to preserving and sharing this rich cultural tradition. Through their troupe, Rayanne and Tasneem train dancers of all levels, spreading the joy and passion that dabke brings. Their mission is to inspire others to connect with Palestinian heritage and keep the spirit of this beloved art form alive for generations to come.

In this first collaboration with Ilham Collective Rayanne and Tasneem will be teaching the foundational steps of dabke, equipping participants with the skills needed to perform confidently in different spaces.
